Doppelganger in Demonology

Evidence

Confirm Freezing, then Inscription, then Spirit Box. The journal filters to a single type once three pieces are real. A copied tell does not replace a missing piece. This is the standard evidence set; reduced-evidence settings can hide clues. The order listed is not a mandatory collection order.

Behavior, identification, and counters

Doppelganger fakes a ghost orb and can copy one or two other skills, including a Banshee wail, an Entity teleport, or a Spirit blue flame. Version 1.11 renamed it from Skinwalker. A fake orb still appears on a zero-evidence custom run. Do not mark orb first. Collect three real evidence pieces, and if those three plus an orb match no row, this is the type. The real set is freezing, inscription, and Spirit Box. The mimicry challenge question is the same rule: ignore the copy, trust the three that the journal can filter.

Model versus type

The model determines appearance, not this evidence combination. Gender restrictions still matter: Siren and Keres use female models and Dullahan uses male models according to the current community guides. Do not use an incompatible example model as confirmation of the type.
